Ministry of Finance announced,Our Customs Quality Enterprise (AEO) and the US Customs and Trade Partners Cooperative Anti-Terrorism Specification (C-TPAT) have officially completed the signing of the mutual recognition agreement in Washington DC, Through the signing of this agreement, the customs of both sides will recognize each other's AEO verification results and give each other's AEO operators convenient customs clearance and other preferential measures。

my country has implemented the high-quality enterprise system since December 25, 2009, and as of November 23, 2012, it has reached 507, including 346 general high-quality enterprises and 161 safety-certified high-quality enterprises。 according to the statistics,

my country is the 10th largest trading country of the United States, and the United States is the 3rd largest trading country of my country. the total import and export value of the United States reached 15.7 billion US dollars, accounting for about 25% of my country's total trade value with the United States. Therefore, the completion of the signing of this agreement is very important for promoting the development of Taiwan-US economic and trade。


Taiwan and the United States have reached AEO mutual recognition, and my country's high-quality safety-certified enterprises will directly benefit.
